OZZY OSBOURNE: 'I Have Complete And Utter Faith In My Wife'
January 13, 2003OZZY OSBOURNE believes that there is nothing wrong with having his wife as his manager, telling Launch in a recent interview that "every married man's business adviser is his wife. Here's a typical thing: The other day, a truck got delivered to my house. I'm like, 'What's this all about?' My wife comes running in, saying, 'Thank you for buying me the car!' I said, 'I haven't bought you a car.' She said, 'I did, but I thought you wouldn't mind.' I said, 'What about me having a car?' She said, 'I've sent my BMW to be repaired, you can have that one.' I said, 'Who's the rock star around here???' But you know, I've had my fun in the day — my groupies, my one-night stands — but Sharon is the love of my life. She's great. For instance, I slept in today, and I phoned her up and I asked her, 'What should I wear to this interview?' She says, 'You're asking me what to wear?' But if I didn't, she'd say, 'You're wearing that?' So if you phone up, you get your ass chewed out, and if you don't phone up, you get your ass chewed out. I hope you don't think I'm a dummy, asking what I should I wear! As far as the merchandising and the financial side of Ozzy, the business decisions, I have complete and utter faith in my wife — sometimes she's wrong, but most times she's right."
